The Fiat 500 Abarth is a modifiers? fave at the moment with companies across Europe trying to outdo each other in the extreme stakes.
We?ve had Karl Schnorr Kraftfahrzeuge?s 200bhp model while Ferrari has teamed up with Fiat to build a 180bhp version.
Now German tuner Hamann has decided to share this little terror with us ? its 265bhp Largo.
After fiddling about with the Abarth?s 1.4-litre engine, the modding house has developed a performance kit which raises power from 135bhp to 265bhp ? the same as the recently-revealed VW Golf R.
There aren?t any performance figures for the Largo but the Golf R will accelerate from 0-62mph in 5.5 seconds and it?s considerably heavier than the 500.
But increasing power wasn?t enough for Hamann which gave the Largo a redesigned front bumper with LED lights, special wing extensions, four tail pipes, new suspension and 18-inch alloys.
If this wasn?t enough, an artist inspired by the works of Kandinsky decided to experiment on the bodywork and it looks surprisingly good.
