CNN is well known for unnecessarily incorporating eccentric features in its coverage, including the hologram Will.I.Am go on the night of the 2008 election.
This election season, they have a new gimmick, and it is less impressive that they have found yet. It is the Cam of the Caucus. They were using at least twice before in their coverage of Iowa and Nevada caucuses and brought it for the elections of tonight in Minnesota and Colorado.
What the Cam different Caucus of a regular camera? Well, on the one hand, it is much more at-a-caucus as a regular. In addition, it is much shittier. The video is grainy has a logo of the Caucus Cam ** comic invented in the upper left corner that displays a flashing red light. It looks like what would happen if political under iCarly.
This appears to be an attempt to conceal the fact that they use a poor quality broadband connection (as acknowledged in the upper screen corner right) instead of a traditional television signal.
Essentially, they try to play the broadband technical handicap as a pleasure new method of news reporting. It is not a thing.
No word yet on what it will rename the Cam Caucus if they try to use it as a primary.
